Environmental Engineering
Missouri University of Science & Technology
Rolla, United StatesI work where environmental engineering, biochemistry and biotechnology meet.
My research focuses on understanding and engineering biological systems capable of transforming difficult environmental contaminants.
Much of my work involves enzymes, proteins, fluorinated compounds and synthetic biological systems for detecting molecular activity. I’m interested in the questions that connect them.

Ado-Ekiti, NigeriaMy academic research connects environmental chemistry, molecular biology, and careful experimental measurement.
Developing defluorination assays for model organofluorines, engineering enzyme variants, and connecting fluoride measurements with microbial growth and screening data.
Applied analytical chemistry to environmental and food samples, and evaluated zeolite sorbents for removing copper from water.
Supported water quality monitoring and the evaluation of water and wastewater treatment processes in an industrial setting.
Gained research experience in food analysis, materials characterization, and pilot-scale processing of food and agro-allied products.
Performed clinical laboratory analyses and maintained reliable diagnostic workflows, building a foundation in careful measurement and laboratory quality assurance.
